Easter morning

The boys woke up bright and early to see if the Easter Bunny hopped by.  Sure enough he did-and he even ate most of the carrots we left for him!  They were so excited!Margaret finally woke up, and daddy and Sam helped her check out her basket.

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

After church, we came home for a little bit and then headed out to The Brunson/Newton Christmas party.  So fun and festive!  We stayed for a short while and then headed over to the Weavers to celebrate Christmas!  Love our Weavers and Driggers!  Friends who are family!We came home, past bedtime!, changed into jammies, and daddy read to the children.  As per tradition, he read ‘Twas the Night before Christmas from our first edition copy of the book!  I love watching this each Christmas!  (Here’s how it started, three years ago.)We put out our reindeer food and then were off to bed-as excited as could be!Looking forward to celebrating the birth of our newborn King!

Jack gutted them both himself this year!  Sam helped a little, but Jack took control and got it done-with tons of seeds for us to roast, too!
