What a fun morning full of excitement! The boys could hardly stand waiting for us to be ready to go downstairs, mainly Jack, but Sam got wrapped up in excitement, too! They had a great time with their toys and seeing their faces was great, but the best part was talking about and celebrating Jesus’ birthday!
Margaret was mostly walking around grabbing paper to play with,
or eating Santa’s leftovers,
but she did have a good time opening her new baby doll!
We loved Christmas morning! When Mark and I sat back and just watched them play, we just smiled. We’re so very blessed and so intensely grateful!

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
Wednesday, December 24, 2014
After church, we came home for a little bit and then headed out to The Brunson/Newton Christmas party. So fun and festive! We stayed for a short while and then headed over to the Weavers to celebrate Christmas! Love our Weavers and Driggers! Friends who are family! We came home, past bedtime!, changed into jammies, and daddy read to the children. As per tradition, he read ‘Twas the Night before Christmas from our first edition copy of the book! I love watching this each Christmas! (Here’s how it started, three years ago.)
We put out our reindeer food and then were off to bed-as excited as could be!
Looking forward to celebrating the birth of our newborn King!

Santa Party!
Friday, December 19, 2014
Today was the last day of school before Christmas break, so we had a super fun playdate this afternoon with an extra special visitor! Margaret wasn’t sure about Santa, but she did ok!
We made cards to share to spread Christmas cheer and made sugar cookies. That was kind of a mess but still fun!
It was such a fun party!
