Happy Friday!

After our walk, we played outside for just a bit, and little mister was a smiley boy as usual!imageimageI just LOVE being his mommy!  I’ve wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember, but I had no idea it would be this good!image And as a side story-He’s crawling all over the place right now, and fast!  He started crawling around the coffee table, and by time he got back to where he started, he had crawled out of his pants and left them behind!  I thought that was too funny, and I wanted to make sure to write it down!!

Happy Columbus Day!

Monday, October 12, 2009

“In fourteen hundred and ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue!” That was Jack’s history lesson of the day! We wanted to celebrate his great discovery by visiting the animals at the zoo, but it was a rainy, rainy day so we spent our Columbus Day playing inside instead. Jack practiced crawling and cruising about-which led to three great naps-and I was able to sew some and make a few batches of food for Jack. The latest-pea, spinach, and onion puree. He loved it! When Mark got home, Jack played even harder-this boy loves his daddy!

Baby on the go!

Now that he’s super mobile, it’s a little more difficult to capture that gummy grin, but I’m loving all his new moves!  Watching him crawl is amazing-and he’s fast!IMG_7352IMG_7350IMG_7386Every once in a while he’ll take a break to look in my direction and melt my heart!IMG_7365

All I want to do is scoop him up and kiss him!

ALL better!

Jack had his follow up appointment today, and he came through his first ear infection with flying colors! Dr. Trey even said he can see that the bottom front teeth should be popping through soon!

Mark and Jack are both back at 100%-yeah!-so we played outside after supper. We’re loving the weather and looking forward to the cooler temperatures Fall will bring!imageimage imageimageI couldn’t decide how I liked this picture best-- image image

Proof he’s growing up over night!

This is the first time we’ve gone to get Jack in the morning and been greeted by his sweet face above the crib rails! Actually, Mark got to him first, and this was his reward. I followed shortly with the camera!imageimage
