We had such fun New Year’s Eve plans this year!  We went to the Palmetto Club for an eight course meal with six other couples and then to the Tarantella NYE party.  What a great night and fun way to ring in the New Year!imageimageimageimage

We went out for a Christmas Day walk and it was great!  We ran in to so many others also out enjoying the day-Sam kept saying, “Merry Christmas!!”  Loved this day!image

Christmas morning

What a fun morning full of excitement!  The boys could hardly stand waiting for us to be ready to go downstairs, mainly Jack, but Sam got wrapped up in excitement, too!  imageimageThey had a great time with their toys and seeing their faces was great, but the best part was talking about and celebrating Jesus’ birthday!imageimageimageMargaret was mostly walking around grabbing paper to play with, imageimageor eating Santa’s leftovers, imagebut she did have a good time opening her new baby doll!imageimageimageimageimageimageWe loved Christmas morning!  When Mark and I sat back and just watched them play, we just smiled.  We’re so very blessed and so intensely grateful!image

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

After church, we came home for a little bit and then headed out to The Brunson/Newton Christmas party.  So fun and festive!  We stayed for a short while and then headed over to the Weavers to celebrate Christmas!  Love our Weavers and Driggers!  Friends who are family!imageWe came home, past bedtime!, changed into jammies, and daddy read to the children.  As per tradition, he read ‘Twas the Night before Christmas from our first edition copy of the book!  I love watching this each Christmas!  (Here’s how it started, three years ago.)imageimageimageimageWe put out our reindeer food and then were off to bed-as excited as could be!imageimageLooking forward to celebrating the birth of our newborn King!

Nativity Pageant

What a super sweet service-one of my favorites of the year!  We had two shepherds, a little grey donkey, and two angels.  What a great way to portray Christ’s miraculous birth!image

Cardboard box fun!

That box gave them probably two hours of fun!  It ended as a sled down the stairs.  Loved it!!image
