Franklin, TN!

Sam, George, Kenz, Brent, and I just got back from a weekend in Franklin!  Kevin and Karly Beth are getting married next month, so they had a pre-wedding send off celebration.  We were so happy to get to see so much of our extended family!  We drove the seven and a half hours, and the boys did great!  I was worried, but turns out that was for nothing!  What a fun weekend, but so glad to get home to Mark, Jack, and Margaret!

George’s Baptism Day!

Today, George was ‘Sealed by the Holy Spirit in Baptism, and marked as Christ’s own forever’!  It was such a special day!

George, and our family as a whole!, are so blessed to have two wonderful god parents-Wanda and Shaun.  I know they, and their families, will both be such blessings in his life!

I missed any pictures of the delicious food, but we had Jack Brantley cater for us, and he did such a great job!  We left for church, and when we came home, the beautiful china was out and the buffet was ready!  Loved it!

So thankful for everyone that came to celebrate our sweet boy and our newest Christian!  I can’t wait to see how God will use him and work in his life!  Glory be to God for this indescribable gift!

Happy TENTH anniversary!

Ten years down and forever to go!  I love this man more now than I even though possible all those years ago!  So thankful that God knew we needed each other!

George’s BIRTHday

April 24th, 2015.  Another one of the best days of my life!  All the details of the day and the days to follow are poured out in George’s journal in page after page of euphoric reflection.  Oh, how I loved this day!  Jordan was with us and captured some of the joy we felt when we met our fourth born and third son.  What a blessing!!

This day.  Oh, this day.  Such a thin place between Heaven and earth when we help the Lord bring another life into the world!  Beyond grateful for this gift, our George! (Fun side note:  He wasn’t named for about two hours, which is a first for us!  The night before, we had him named something else, but when we met him, we weren’t sure about that name-Mark instantly!  He knew he was George!)

Sam now shares his baptism anniversary with George’s birthday!  Pretty special for those brothers!  We celebrated Sam when we got home.  Praise you, Lord, for this boy-Your child!

Jack’s SIXTH birthday party!

Yep, a football party again! Third year in a row, but that’s what the birthday boy asked for, so that’s what he got!  This year we had a clinic for the kindergarten boys, and they all seemed to love it!The run-through!  This was a highlight for our six-year-old! And Sam held back so he could have his own little run-through!Thankful for Coach Brad and Coach Sam leading the clinic!  And what fun having Anna, Laurie, and Gretchen as cheerleaders!Make a wish, you sweet thing!What fun celebrating this sweet, amazing boy of ours!  Thankful for the beautiful weather we had and all the sweet friends who came to be with our boy on this great day!
