Franklin, TN!

Sam, George, Kenz, Brent, and I just got back from a weekend in Franklin!  Kevin and Karly Beth are getting married next month, so they had a pre-wedding send off celebration.  We were so happy to get to see so much of our extended family!  We drove the seven and a half hours, and the boys did great!  I was worried, but turns out that was for nothing!  What a fun weekend, but so glad to get home to Mark, Jack, and Margaret!

We loved Mrs. Rachel and Mrs. Pam this year!  Sam had such a good year-learned so much and made so many new friends!

Child of God

Sam now shares his baptism anniversary with George’s birthday!  Pretty special for those brothers!  We celebrated Sam when we got home.  Praise you, Lord, for this boy-Your child!

Easter morning

The boys woke up bright and early to see if the Easter Bunny hopped by.  Sure enough he did-and he even ate most of the carrots we left for him!  They were so excited!Margaret finally woke up, and daddy and Sam helped her check out her basket.

Good Friday Egg Dying and Hunt

The Thomas kids hosted our friends for egg dying and an egg hunt this Good Friday!  Love this tradition!  I love an egg hunt, and it was extra fun to have it in our backyard.  That’s one of the things I pictured when we bought this house! We dyed first-and then hunted.  We hid about 14 dozen eggs, and they were all scooped up in no time!  I kinda wanted to have them all dumped out and rehid so they could hunt again!This was Margaret’s first hunt-and she did great!  Loved watching that!Thankful for these friends and all the fun we had, but most thankful for what Jesus accomplished for us on this day!  “It is finished!”
