Baby’s got a new pair of shoes!

Since Jack’s a full time walker now, Mark and I took him to Little Lambs Shoes to get his first pair of shoes today!  Yep, another moment when I realized that he sure isn’t going to be little for long.  I don’t want to forget a thing about my sweet first born, so I try to be intentional with our days, even if that means documenting everything-including his first time having his feet measured!  My Grandpa Singer would have loved to see this!He measured to be a size 3 and a half, so we started to try some on.  The nice lady {I hate that I didn’t get her name!} said the little ones usually fight her, but Jack was so good!  Here’s what we came away with-a pair of little red keds and some nice white church shoes.  How old does he look in these!?!?

Boys and their toys

We bought Jack his first little Thomas the Train toy yesterday at South Park, and he loves it!  We were in the book store playing at the train table, and when it was time to go, Jack was having so much fun, he didn’t want to put the train down.  So-daddy bought it for him! :)He’s kind of attached to it already, and it’s so cute to see him walking around with it!  Isn’t is funny that little boys know exactly what to do with little car like toys?  Vroom, vroom!

Lucy Loo and all the girlees too!

We headed to Fort Mill this morning to spend some time with the Rabbs and the Dowlings-always a great time!

Jack was able to play with Lucy Loo-arranged marriage?!-and the big girls too!  He showed off his new walking skills and decided to be all but done with crawling!

Our little walker!

It’s so wonderful to watch Jack make progress each day!  Sometimes he crawls more than he walks, sometimes it’s vice versa, and sometimes it even looks like he’s running!  He’s gotten more consistent with standing up without a prop too!  He brings a smile to our face no matter what he does, but this new milestone is just so fun!

Happy February!

In less than three weeks, our little baby will be one!  Can you believe it!  We’re busy planning his party and watching him walk all over the place!  He’s so much fun!  If you ask him where his belly is, he’ll pat it and get a huge smile on his face-he’s so proud and we are too!  It’s so neat to see that he understands us!We’re pretty sure he’s working on some new teeth, and that’s no fun for him, but supper time always makes him happy!We love you more every day sweet boy!
