This is how a good portion of our after dinner walk went tonight.  It was like he was thinking, “No one ever told me the walk could go like this!”  So sweet!And then he had fun ‘driving’ the car!  He still has the most fun with toys that are not toys!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Happy 80th Birthday to my amazing grandpa!!  I love you SO much, grandpa, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you in a few weeks!!It fills my heart with such joy to see these pictures of you and Jack and to know that he loves his grandpa-great!  It’s so special to me that he shares your name.  I pray that one day he’ll love his wife as fiercely as you do and be the role model to his family that you are to ours! Happy, Happy Birthday, Grandpa!  I love you SO much!

Mother’s Day Weekend

We had a great time this weekend celebrating our moms, and I enjoyed many extra special hugs and kisses from my sweet boy!

On Saturday we headed to Charleston for a picnic lunch at the park. It was so great to all be together! Grandma showed Jack how to play in the water, and he loved it! I know this is one momma who is so thankful for her baby girl, and her family this Mother’s Day! We love her, too!!These babies don’t yet know how good they’ve got it with these two as grandparents! Today we met the Thomas's at The Zoo and enjoyed lunch, visiting the animals, and the nice weather!Thanks for another fun day! It was great to celebrate with you! My sweet boy, and his daddy!, really spoiled me this Mother’s Day! After breakfast in bed, some chocolate, and some really fun cards, I was able to snuggle this t-tiny baby and kiss him all day long! I couldn’t ask for more!I’m so thankful that God allowed me to be a mom, and more specifically, Jack’s mom. I pray that I’m doing the right thing for him each day. I would have to say that I learned from the best, and she learned from the best, too! I love you my mommy and grandma! I got to talk to them both today and wish them a Happy Mother’s Day-I’m so thankful for you two! Happy Mother’s Day to all my friends! Isn’t being a mommy such an indescribably amazing gift?!

Why is this boy so happy??

Because he’s so excited to see his grandparents, aunt, uncles, and cousin this weekend!!  We hope you all have a nice Mother’s Day weekend!

Mark was running an errand today, so I was keeping him updated with what Jack was up to!

He woke up from his nap a happy little boy, he practiced his putting,and he searched for his daddy-inside and outside! This little boy is just so fun!

Mr. Ulterior Motives!

There’s a new Frozen Yogurt shop in 5 Points, so after dinner Mark and Doug picked some up, and Jack thought he should help his daddy eat it.  Turns out, he just wanted the spoon!

My Birthday!!

I had a great day celebrating my birthday with my two boys!  I woke up to the sweetest Happy Birthday song, Mark made me (and Jack!) a homemade waffle for breakfast, I got to sew for a bit, we went to the Crawfish Festival and had fun with some friends, and I had a yummy cookie cake!  The best part-spending the day with the man of my dreams and the cutest baby boy I know!  I’m definitely counting my blessings on this birthday! And thank you to my family and friends for my many cards, phone calls, and text messages!  I’m so thankful to have you to celebrate with, too!
