Jordan took some six month pictures of Sam in June, and, once again, we think she did a wonderful job! It was a crazy hot day, but in true ‘embrace the camera’ form, I jumped in a few. We’re so thankful for Jordan and are looking forward to some family pictures soon! Here’s the link to Sam’s sixth monthers-LOVE!

Anne Eliz is ONE!

Sam and I had a wonderful time celebrating with Anne Eliz, her family and friends on Sunday!  Elizabeth did a wonderful job, as usual, on her party, and the birthday girl did a great job on her cake!  I just love a smash cake picture! I left Jack home so I could take some pictures, but it ends up I still didn’t take very many.  I did catch Sam playing and making friends, though! Happy birthday, sweet girl!

Pool time!

We had supper with the Pretulaks tonight, and Jack was so excited to see his ‘best buddy Hane’!  We were just with them at church and lunch, but when we pulled up, Jack leapt out of his car seat at the sound of Hane’s voice like he hadn’t seen him in ages!  I love their sweet little friendship!

Jared pumped up the pool for some outdoor fun, and these two loved it! We had to get on them about not wrestling in the pool, these boys are like brothers!, but for the most part they splashed around and were just plain silly!  They were even giving the neighbor’s dog a hard time, calling out, “Aaa-ooh-ga!  Aaa-ooh-ga!” over and over.  Where did they get that from?Jack wanted Hane to take a break,but he was loving the water too much to get out.  Love that face!Thanks for the fun night, guys!

Cheerios

Today was Sam’s first time sitting in the highchair and his first time with Cheerios! He looks like he means business, but he mostly just checked them out and gummed one or two. I love seeing those sweet little fingers hard at work!

Grand Rapids!

The three of us headed to good ole’ GR early Monday morning to spend some time with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  It was such a special time, as it always is!, and we’re already looking forward to heading back up there soon!  This little one was as sweet as can be, but we sure missed Mark and Jack!
