Cowboys and Indians

As is customary for all little boys, Jack and his daddy have started playing Cowboys and Indians.  I told Jack that the only thing he could ‘shoot’ was a target, but Mark reminded me that that wouldn’t work.  I’m slowly learning to let our little boy be a little boy!When he ‘gets’ his daddy, all he has to do is give him a kiss and the Indian is back in the game! But this Cowboy and this Indian are the best of friends! And when the Indian left for work, the Cowboy wanted to play sleep.  He takes down all his blankets, wants me to cover him up, and then we both pretend to sleep-until three seconds later he says, “Wake up, mommy!” And then he hears a train-love it!
