He’s just loving his first soccer season, and we are, too!  Go, Strikers!

It’s been so fun to check on Sam at nap and find him in the chair.  He usually has a book, or twenty, near by, on the floor, or even in his hand.  I checked on him today, and he was already awake-and reading.  He chose the best Book, too!!

This sweet thing.  He just learned how to crawl out of his crib (Jack never did this.  But then again, we moved him to his big boy bed at 22 months, so I guess he never had the chance!), so this is where I usually find him during nap time.  Ooooh, I just want to scoop him up, kiss all over his face, and go to sleep with him!

We had our first soccer game this morning, and it was so much fun!  It was pretty much the Bad News Bears against the All Stars, but they didn’t seem to notice and had a great time!  I loved, loved watching Jack play!  He’s so competitive right now, and you could see that on the field!He thought it would be fun to play goalie-even though they don’t have that position just yet!-and then it was time for a snack break and a little coaching from dad!Then back at it!Sam wants to be out there so badly!Looks like we’re still working on the ‘no hands’ and ‘teammates versus opponents’ concepts!Love these cute boys!It was a really great first game, and I know it’s going to be a super fun season!  Great job, buddy, and GO Strikers!!
