Halloween Night!

Saturday, October 31, 2015

We had so much fun tonight!  We started at the Albion block party and then headed out to trick or treat for a bit.  We don’t make it to too many houses-the boys love coming home and handing out candy!  Loved tonight!imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

So thankful all our babies have been able to enjoy the Wiersma family day crib!  They are the fourth generation of babies who have slept in it, starting with my grandma.image

He’s such a big boy!  He let me walk him in to school, but when we got through the double doors, he said he could take it from there.  So I let him go.  And kept my eyes on that baby boy of mine until I lost him in the sea of people.  I know my job is to raise him to become independent and one day leave me, but already?!  So proud of you, Jacky boy!image

This school year’s Bible verse:  “Be joyful always, pray continuously, give thanks always.  For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18

Here’s to a great year for the big three!

Good Friday Egg Dying and Hunt

Friday, April 3, 2015

The Thomas kids hosted our friends for egg dying and an egg hunt this Good Friday!  Love this tradition!  I love an egg hunt, and it was extra fun to have it in our backyard.  That’s one of the things I pictured when we bought this house! image We dyed first-imageimageimageimageimageimageand then hunted.  We hid about 14 dozen eggs, and they were all scooped up in no time!  I kinda wanted to have them all dumped out and rehid so they could hunt again!imageimageThis was Margaret’s first hunt-and she did great!  Loved watching that!imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageThankful for these friends and all the fun we had, but most thankful for what Jesus accomplished for us on this day!  “It is finished!”
