Sam and I were cuddling after he woke up, and Jack asked if he could take a picture. I thought he was going to go grab my phone, but he came back in with my big camera with the big lens on it-gulp.Check out the angle he got! Then I thought I’d take a few of this baby, but then he wanted a turn with the camera. Gulp again!I told him some jokes instead, and at first he wasn’t sure, but then he smiled!Love this sweet Sammy!
NYC!

Mark and I had a truly amazing trip to New York City this past weekend! One of our very favorite places!! We usually go when the tree is up, but with the baby on the way, we headed up early, and it was unreal!! We got there Thursday night, ate a late dinner, and walked around a bit. We didn’t plan anything this trip-just came up with lists each night of things we wanted to do and places we wanted to go. The weather was amazing, so we explored the island more than we ever have. And it was such a treat to have my number one all to myself! How I loved walking the City hand in hand. He still gives me butterflies! It was just perfect. Man, I’m still reliving every part of it. Cannot wait to go back!Of course we missed our love bugs like crazy and were excited to get home to kiss their faces! Thanks for taking such great care of them G&G Thomas, G&G Singer, Aunt Linds, Kendall, Ethan, and Miss Ashley! We know they were so well loved! And THANK YOU SO MUCH for the pictures! We loved each one!
First day of school!

Today was the first day of school for the boys. Man, summer went by fast! I wasn’t ready for my boys to head back, but the day was upon us so we took some pictures and off we went! Jack has Mrs. Regina in the fours, five days, 9-12, and Sam has Mrs. Emily in the twos, three days, 9-12. We were all so thankful to have Mark with us for the first day drop-off!
Sam did so great! He walked in and thought about walking out for two seconds. Once he saw the toys, he walked right over and barely looked back! He had a great day!Jack, on the other hand, well that didn’t go so well. Mrs. Regina had to literally pry him off of me, him in tears and me fighting them back. As soon as Mark and I walked out, mine started falling. The good news, he got a great report! They said he had a great day, and he was super happy when I picked him up! Yay, yay!
Boys, be on your best behavior, make new friends, listen to your teachers, remember your manners, and always remember how much daddy and I love you! And God loves you even more! Even when we’re not with you, He is!
I know it’s going to be a great year for these two!

I forgot a few from the last post. Plus this is one of my favorite outfits, so I had to get a few shots in it since I don’t think he’ll be able to wear it again. :(
