Jack had his first performance at Hammond today-it was the cutest thing, and of course I cried! They all did so great! The children could volunteer for a speaking part, and Jack did. His line was, “Meet us in the lobby for a quick hug.” Delivered just perfectly!
Of course I did!
Oh, I adore this tradition! This was part of my day dreams when I thought about being a momma! He loved it, my little Hammerhead!
To the pumpkin patch we go, and what a sweet little morning it was! We walked across the street with the help of a police man (stopping traffic), and the kids thought he was almost better that the field trip!
He wasn’t interested in the rides this year, except the chair lifts, but we still had fun!
“It’s both a daunting responsibility and a glorious opportunity. The divine role of Motherhood is a gift from God…” I LOVE being their mamma!
And Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms in my life, most especially my own! Love you so much, mama!
Last Mother’s Day Tea at Eastminster with this boy. They put on a super sweet performance for us mammas and made us feel so special-the sweetest songs and little poems. They memorized Psalm 23 and recited it for us-makes this mama heart smile to hear him recite God’s word! So thankful to be his mamma!
What a fun afternoon on the ice! Boyd Plaza, in front of the Art Museum, sets up an ice rink each winter. This was the first time we’ve been! Jack struggled a little to stay up, but he had fun-we all did! LOVE me some Weavers!
We made our Advent Wreath at church tonight. Jack was in to it for a couple minutes, but then he just wanted to use the shears to cut the greener. Gave me more creative control! :)
Day after Thanksgiving-time to get our Tree! Yay!!! It was a pretty cold morning, so we bundled everyone up and headed to the State Farmer’s Market to pick out this year’s tree! Margaret stayed in the warm car, but the boys were happy with our find-and the candy canes the nice lady gave them!
Jack and I went to the Fair during Sam’s nap today-a little one on one time for my t-tiny! We had so much fun!
I don’t ever want to forget how perfectly he fit right on top of my belly! Jack, too!
Sam and I were cuddling after he woke up, and Jack asked if he could take a picture. I thought he was going to go grab my phone, but he came back in with my big camera with the big lens on it-gulp.
I’m so grateful to be their mamma! And I’m thankful to Mark for these hilarious pictures on Mother’s Day! He was telling them a pretty silly story and I was snapping away. They love him to pieces and think he hung the moon. Me too, boys!
What a sweet, sweet morning! The mom’s were invited to a special tea this morning in honor of Mother’s Day. Boy did I feel celebrated! The children sang us super sweet songs, said a few poems, and then joined us (at our seats designated with place cards and gifts!) for a little breakfast. It was the sweetest thing-I loved it so much! Oh, and see my Jack-made corsage?!?!
I can’t remember when it was, but once we decided on a football party for Jack’s fourth birthday, he was ALL ABOUT IT! He would tell anyone and everyone that he was having a football party when he turned four-and that the girls were going to dress up as the cheerleaders! Of course this momma was thrilled with his excitement, booked our neighborhood park, and started planning all the fun football games.
Sam had fun, promise!
