Five Years!

Big News!!

Jack has some big news he’s excited to finally share!  He’s going to be a BIG brother!  And we happen to think that our new baby couldn’t ask for a better one! :)  We’re so thankful that God chose to bless us with another baby and Jack with a sibling!

We are all thrilled and look forward to welcoming Baby Thomas number two around December 18th!  I’m 13 weeks along and very thankful to be feeling really good at this point!  We even got an early peek at this sweet one, so that was a nice surprise!  Here he/she is at 11 weeks, 3 days!!  Wow!  What a miracle! And along the he/she lines, people are already asking-yes, we’re doing the same thing we did with Jack.  Mark will be the only one to know the gender until we meet our sweet baby in December!  We were so thankful to see a strong heartbeat and confirm that all looks healthy and on track, and that’s what we’ll continue to pray for!

Oh, and if you go back to this post, that was the day we found out!  The trip to Target was for a plain white t-shirt, and the sewing I did was making the Big Brother shirt so Jack could tell Mark when he got home from the Masters!  I’ll never forget the many wonderful moments of that particular Masters Sunday!

Supper Club-kiddie style

We had Supper Club tonight with our group from church, but this time the kids were invited!  It was so fun to watch them all play together-but no pictures of that because we were busy playing too!  We missed those who couldn’t make it, but we got a good picture of the babies that did! Anna and Hane, Lauren and Jamison, Courtney and Gussie, Clark and Katherine, Kenzie and Mary Mac, me and my sweet boy, Haley and Jack and Grace.

We also celebrated Laura’s birthday!!  Happy Birthday!  We’re happy to have shared your special night!

Just playing

Tonight before bed, we played in Jack’s room, and he had fun with his blocks!  You don’t see any block towers because as soon as we build them, he knocks them down! Then we cleaned up the blocks, and started moving-and climbing in!-baskets!Play time is such fun with this t-tiny baby!

We’re back!

Jack and I are home!  He was a great little flyer, and we had a great time, but I did a terrible job taking pictures!  I know Lindsey will do some really cute posts, so check her blog over the next few days for some fun pictures!

The best part of our trip was spending time with Grandma and Grandpa-they’re so special to me, and aren’t they cute!  They’ll be married 60 years in August!  Our time together always seems to fly by, but while we’re there, I love every minute of it!We had so much fun with Grandma, Aunt Lindsey, and Kendall, too!  The babies looked too cute in they’re matching outfits!  Again-where was my camera!?!? When Mark picked us up from the airport, Jack saw him on the other side of security waiving.  I put Jack down and he ran straight to his daddy’s arms! It was the cutest thing!!  We’re looking forward to a fun family weekend-the gang is all back together now!

Our Saturday

We had such a great day today, but my camera battery was dead, so no pictures of the fun!

We went to Lizard’s Thicket for breakfast, ran a handful of errands, and then got Jack’s hair cut! He’s already growing so fast, and his haircut just makes him look older! He hated it the entire time-again! We did get these cute pictures on our cell phones.

Later in the afternoon we headed to EdVenture to celebrate Noah’s third birthday! We totally expected Jack run all over the place like he did on Monday, but the party was during his afternoon nap-and he’s teething-so he tuckered out pretty quickly. We still had a great time celebrating with Noah! All the kids started the party with a musical parade!

We ended the day by packing our suitcases-Jack and I are headed to Michigan tomorrow morning! We’ll miss Mark more than words can say, but we’re SO excited to see our family in Grand Rapids!

Oh, and this is his new face! When we ask him to do his surprise face, he used to do it. Now, this is what we get! Silly boy!
