Happy 60th Anniversary!!

Wednesday, August 11, 2010

Happy, Happy 60th Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!  Who would have thought that when you were growing up 264 steps/13 houses/2 intersections away from each other that you would be celebrating so much on your 60th wedding anniversary!  Six kids, 20 grandkids, 11 great-grands (and counting!), and so many wonderful memories later, and here you are!image We love you both so very much and pray for you each and every day!  God willing, Mark and I will have the beautiful marriage that you do-you’re an amazing example!

All our love!

Busy Boy!

The after dinner non-toys of choice tonight-the golf club and the ottoman (that still needs it’s cushion made)!  I love watching his little imagination at work!  imageimageWe go for Jack’s 18 month well visit at the end of the month, but it’s safe to say that he’s still tall and skinny.  He’s in 18 month John John’s for the length, but in general he still needs a 12 month.  We make it work, though, and cross the straps even when that’s now how the outfit is made!  He doesn’t seem to mind! image

Happy Birthday, Uncle Ryan!

We hope you have a very happy birthday with your two girls!image We love you!

Jack’s first popsicle

Saturday, August 7, 2010

Well, second time’s a charm!  The first time we offered Jack a popsicle, he wanted nothing to do with it, but that was a month ago, so we thought we’d try again.  It actually took a lot of convincing, but he finally grabbed it, and he liked it!imageimageThis was “cheese!!” and “look mommy!!” all at once! imageLove that happy baby, and love making that baby happy!!

Jack’s first fork

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

I’ve been meaning to buy Jack a fork, but I just remembered to today! He spotted it when we were washing his hands before dinner, and he wanted it right away! He held on to it while I got his dinner ready, and he did not let go until bedtime-he even brought it with him to the bath! AND he had so much fun using it that he had two helpings of Chicken Divan-more than I would eat! Good job, buddy!

Our sweet baby #2

Monday, August 2, 2010

Wow!  We go a chance to peek at our sweet baby today, and it was amazing!  He/She was quite the wiggle worm, so Kerry had a hard time getting a few measurements, but this gave us a chance to watch the baby longer!  Everything checked out perfectly, and our baby is healthy and growing!  This is not something we take for granted-we are so thankful for every perfect measurement!  His/Her little profile looks exactly like Jack’s, so maybe another little boy??  We’ll see!

Take a look at baby Thomas #2-we’re in love!imageimage image

Bath time!

Sunday, August 1, 2010

Jack loves the bath, and he loves his daddy, so he’s all smiles when it’s bath time with daddy!  I just love watching my two boys play!imageimageimageimageHe’s getting really good about water in his face when we’re rinsing the shampoo out of his hair. image“Thanks, daddy!  Mwahhhh!”imageimage

I told Mark that watching them play together and listening to Jack’s sweet belly laugh when his daddy does something silly is what I dreamt my future might hold!  I’m so thankful and count my blessings every day!
