Sam’s birthday night

After supper, we had our own little birthday party for the birthday boy.  We got him a few gifts, and Jack was so happy to help him open them!Rex from Toy Story.  I mean, look at that face!!A new Llama book!Then it was time for the birthday song, and he LOVED it!He blew out his candles, and then asked, “Again?”  So we lit them again, and again, and again!  It was so great!Happy, happy second birthday sweet Sam!  We love you more than words can say and are so very thankful you’re ours!  A few favorite things you’re saying and doing right now:
*You LOVE to sing and dance, and we LOVE to listen and watch!  You’re pure entertainment!  Favorites:  Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman, Five Little Monkeys…swinging in a tree, and Zacchaeus.
*You have great manners.  You say “Pease”, “Thanks you”, and “Sorry” right when you should.  Unless we ask you to say sorry, then it’s a 50/50 chance!  You say “thanks you” or “thanks you, mama” all the time, and it melts me.
*Jack loves to wear his cowboy boots, and when he grabs them, he usually asks, “Is this the right way, momma?”  You’ve caught on to that.  Any time you grab your clothes or socks or any shoes, you ask us, “Dis da right way?”  I love it!
*You love your brother and do, or try to do, everything he does.  You say what he says and you guys totally act silly together!!
*When asked how old you are, “I two.” while showing four fingers.
*You love to count.
*You take one nap a day, usually three hours.
*You eat really well, except for green beans, and take a looong time.  You’re always the last one at the table!
