For the baby book
Margaret’s been smiling a little bit, but today was her first real, reactionary smile! For me! I was talking to you in a high, baby voice, and you gave me a precious, open mouth grin! Yay! Your little eyes lit up, too! Can’t wait to see that more and more and more!! 6 weeks, 3 days

Christmas with the Thomases
Christmas morning
Jesus’ birthday! Glory to the new born KING!
The boys ran down the hall, Mark had Margaret in his arms, and then they saw the presents! They were both so happy, and loved opening their gifts! Jack started playing his guitar and Sam put his fireman gloves on-then started eating his candy! We played and played, trash everywhere, but that was part of the fun! After a little while, we had our traditional cinnamon rolls with birthday candles for Jesus. We sang the birthday song, and they blew out the candles! Oh, and then they ‘cheers’ed with their cups! When Jack blessed the food, he said, “Thank you, God, for Jesus and his birthday. And thank you that my family is so important to me. Thank you for daddy and that he works hard for us and thank you for my mommy and that she helps me do hard things. Thank you for Sam and for our baby and that you gave us a baby girl. And thank you that you let Santa give us presents.” Brought tears to my eyes! When Jack opened his goblet, he was soooo happy and gave me the biggest hug and said, “Thank you SO much mommy! You’re the best mommy ever!” And then later he asked to drink from his ‘green goblin’. It was such a sweet morning! Happy birthday, baby Jesus! Glory to the new born KING!
