What a super fun week at VBS! I just love seeing our church grounds a buzz with all these sweet children learning about Jesus! So thankful for this village! The boys had the best time and Margaret and Geroge had fun in the nursery!

Mother’s Day and First Sunday at church
Monday, May 11, 2015
What a blessing it is to be their momma! I feel so incredibly blessed to be living my dream in mothering them. Thank you, Father! And what a privledge to bring George to church for the first time today! So thankful for our church family and how they will help us raise him and his siblings.
Some of Holy Week
Saturday, April 4, 2015
We started out the week with a beautiful service on Palm Sunday remembering Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!”We continued our Resurrection Eggs at home where we go through the events of Holy Week. On Thursday, we headed to church for the Maundy Thursday kids service-so special!
We had our egg hunt and egg dying with friends on Good Friday, and then dyed eggs at church for the Easter morning breakfast guests today.
I pray that these boys have soaked up the goodness of what Jesus did for us as we walked through this week. And we’re so excited that today is not the end and that Sunday is coming!

Our verse
Tuesday, September 30, 2014
This is our family verse for the school year. We talk about what it means all the time, and both boys have already memorized it! Oh, LORD, hide your words in their heart and let them be a light in the world for you! Thanks to my cousin, Lisi, for making it so gorgeous! Check out her Etsy shop, Loulee, if you’re interested!

LORD, teach us to pray-VBS 2014
Thursday, July 17, 2014
What an amazing week!! I was one of the co-chairs of VBS this year, and it was the best experience! Roger handled 95% of everything, and Michael and I were happy to help wherever we were needed! This was Jack’s third year and Sam’s first. They both had a really great week learning more about the mighty God we serve! Such a treasured time!

Margaret’s Baptism Day
Sunday, January 12, 2014
What a blessing this day was! Margaret Elaine, today we received you into the Household of God! We made many important promises today, and we intend to keep them, with God’s help and the help of so many others that love you so much! You were such a good girl during the service. We were the last of five families to present a baby for baptism, and you were asleep the entire time. When it was your turn for Susan to baptize you, she soaked you with each splash, and you woke right up with a cry! Sweetest little sound! Alleluia! After a wonderful service at church, we hosted family and friends for a luncheon in Margaret’s honor. So thankful for each and everyone of them!
I used our wedding cake topper beside her baptism cake. It’ll be so fun to see it on her wedding cake one day a LONG TIME from now! :)
She wore our family Baptismal gown. Third generation and twenty something baby to wear it-including me and the boys, Linds and her kids, and mom. Made, with love, by great grandma Woudenburg. So special!
Margaret, we can’t wait for you to realize how important these people will be in your life! You’re so loved, sweet girl!
The godparents-Uncle Eddie and Aunt Clark. SO thankful for the example these two will be for Margaret!
With our godchildren-love that sweet Thomas!
Margaret, today you were sealed by the Holy Spirit in Baptism and marked as Christ’s own forever!
“There is one Body and one Spirit. There is one hope in God’s call to us. One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism. One God and Father of all.”
