I just had to take some more!
So, so thankful for this healthy, happy boy! And so thankful this is part of how I start my day!

He did it!
Wednesday, October 12, 2011
Sam’s been pulling up a lot lately, but he never pulled up in his crib-until this morning! I love, love going in his room in the morning to get him, but today was extra special. How fun to walk in to this cute face!Actually, I walked in to see him standing and smiling and was so excited so I ran back to our room to get my camera. I made him cry because I left. Oops! But the smile quickly came back and I started snapping!
Jack was so excited for him, too!
Your smiling face is such a great treat, sweet one! Can’t wait to see it tomorrow!
From my phone

I love that I can use my phone to snap a quick picture of what the boys are up to. And I’m totally in love with using Instagram to do it!
1. This sweet boy can get where ever he’d like to go, and he’s happy to play where ever he ends up! 2. Mark bought Jack some new tools and Sam got the box. He totally thought he got the better end of that deal! 3. I love my little kitchen helper. And, of course, you have to sample what you’re making. 4. and 5. Sam loves playing in the bath. 6. Yep, still happy. But is he hiding from me? 7. Jack’s first self-portrait. Ha! 8. Crafty grandma! How fun to come home from the Auburn game to our first Halloween craft! We love it! 9. Snuggling with Uncle Adam after his first Carolina game. 1. The boy is ready for his bath! 2. Did I mention he can get anywhere he’d like to go? He’s still an army crawler and that’s just perfect for him! 3. and 4. Sam loves to swing. When I push him, he just laughs and laughs! Video to come! 5. Jack loves his new red rain boots! 6. And he loves his hats, too. No big deal if they don’t yet fit! 7. Jack lined up his spreaders so he’d be ready just in case the giant came. He told me not to worry-that he’d protect Sam and me and daddy would protect him. I love it! 8. And this is a first in the Thomas house! That sweet boy was too sleepy to finish his supper!
I think these deserve a bigger look. Four teeth (and many more to come still causing major drool!) and one really big smile!
And then the sleeping ones-crazy baby! He was very happily eating his supper but then started to slow down. I watched his eyes get heavy, he fought it for a second, and then he gave in and got comfortable. This has never happened before! Sweet thing!
If you’re on Instagram, leave me a comment so I can follow you-if you don’t mind. I just love these pictures.
Jack’s first Carolina game
Saturday, October 8, 2011
After talking about it for weeks and telling him what to expect, we took our big boy to his first Carolina game! He LOVED it! We got to the tailgate a few hours before kick-off, and Jack was a pro. He threw the football with the coolest guy he knows,
then the Starnes’ pulled up and Jack found a buddy! He and Evan could’ve played football for hours!
He took a water break
and then told a few jokes with his daddy.
We didn’t have a full tailgate this time, but we did get to be with a lot of our great friends-my favorite part of tailgating! We saw Grace and Lucy (Sarah was there too-just missed a picture of her),
the Starnes Family (minus Anna),
and John Lewis.
It was time to head to the game, so Jack hitched a ride. Mark and I were so excited to show him the Gamecocks! I can remember getting all dressed up and standing in the student section (the entire game) with my awesome boyfriend, and now we’re bringing our first born with us-how great is that!
At first there was so much going on that he didn’t know what to think.
He started to warm up,
and then was cheering with his daddy!
Uncle Adam even joined us for Jack’s first game-yay!
We made it through three and a half quarters, but we had a tired little Gamecock on our hands (whose naptime was smack in the middle of game time), so we headed home. Before the stadium was out of sight, this little one was snoozing.
We had such a great time. It was a real treat to take Jack to ‘Cocky’s house’ so he could help cheer on the Gamecocks! And his first game was a huge win-maybe he’s good luck?! Thanks for keeping Sam, Grandma and Grandpa Thomas. It’ll be time for his first game before we know it! Gooo Gamecocks!

Words escape me when I try to write how thankful I am for these three. I sure don’t deserve them, but I’m so glad they’re mine! My heart could just burst looking at this picture! And this one-gah! Love that daddy loving on that boy!

Crazy boy!
Sunday, October 2, 2011
I asked Jack to go get some undies from his room and he came back like this. What a jokester! With a house full of boys, I suppose this is something that will be funny around here for a while!
What was even funnier-once he pulled them onto his head like a ski mask (kind of?) he just started playing with his tools like it was no big deal! Ha!
