I have had a lot of fun learning how to sew, and I really like the final products so far! I made a little bubble with Amy's help, and I made the John John today. I will confess, I stitched wrong side to wrong side and had to use the seam ripper to undo the entire thing! Suffice it to say, I learned my lesson-I won't do that again!
The Bubble-

My favorite little model showing the fabric up close-

More to come! I have some blue seer sucker fabric that I want to make a different style John John with, so we'll see!
And look at how long he's getting! He has his legs stretched out--that's his little blue socked foot sticking out of the blanket! We're about to have to move nap time out of the moses basket and into the cradle!
We went to church for the first time since Jack's birth this morning, and he did great-he slept the entire service! I was nervous that he would wake up for his 10am feeding, we don't get out until about 10:15ish, but he was patient, and waited until we got home. We're baptizing him in two weeks, Easter Sunday, so we hope he's a good boy then, too!
I learned a lot and almost finished my first bubble-thanks Amy!! Little Em came, too, and, as usually, could not have been any sweeter!

Look at that sweet face! His grandma had him smiling!

He got to meet his Great Aunt Debbie, and we were able to see Aunt Linds for a little bit, too-thanks for coming over! We had a great visit, and we can't wait to see you all again soon!

Abby and Emma were so good with him too! Abby was playing with his arms and singing to him and had him smiling!! Good job, Abby!

I fell more in love with this man too! Everyone says you'll love your husband even more when you see him as a daddy, and it's so true! He is so great with Jack, and has taken such great care of both of us! I Love You, Mark-thanks for being such a wonderful daddy and husband!.jpg)

Thanks, Aunt Linds! I love him!
You love to be swaddled, but you've also figured out how to get your arms out when you want to. You've started to hold your head up pretty well, and you still hate to be cold. Actually, the only time you're fussy is when you get cold, so we try not to let that happen!

He really liked the little mirror attachment which I can understand-I love looking at the cute little face, too!
Then we went on our first walk! It felt so good to get my gym shoes on and get a little exercise!
What better place to walk to than daddy's office!! We stopped by one time before, but that was for a diaper change-this was his first real visit!!

Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Ryan
Grandma and Grandpa Singer

but he did like having his hair washed!
He DOES NOT like to be cold {just like his mommy!}, so he wasn't a happy boy fresh out of the tub.

One of our first stops was the carousel. Eva spotted a "Puma" and decided that had to be her animal of choice! She learned about the puma on
Here she is saying, "Go Puma!"
Thanks for such a fun play date! We look forward to many more to come!!
