Sam’s 1st Birthday Party-the smash cake!

His first cake! Our little baby is one, and he’s got the cake to prove it! Wow, did he love his cake!  At first he was just patting it, then he started taking handfuls, and then he smashed his face right on in!  Crazy baby! He was pretty pleased with him self, don’t ‘cha think!?While one of our boys was playing with his cake, the other was being silly with Uncle AdamWe had such a great time with our families and friends and are so thankful for you all.  This little boy, and our family, sure is blessed by the love of so many!  Happy, Happy birthday, one-year-old! (He was about to show ONE here!)And here-“Hooray!” or “How big is Sam?”-I’m not sure which, but it makes me happy to see him so happy! Sam’s 1st Birthday Party-Gingerbread Houses!

This was probably one of my favorite parts of the party.  I just love a gingerbread (or graham cracker!) house, and seeing all the hard work going into decorating them-everyone did a great job!  Here’s what they had to work with- And the decorators in action! This one decorated a little, and tasted A LOT!  Ha! Love me some Emma!!They were hard working decorators, and they turned out some pretty fancy gingerbread houses!  SO fun!

This sweet one was excited to share his birthday with so many we love.  We’re so blessed by our families and sweet friends and are so thankful that they celebrated this boy with us-even during the busy Christmas Season!Here are just a few that helped us celebrate.  I could pretty much just eat up all these sweet faces!  Thank you, everyone, and thank you for the great books!  St. Lawrence Place was thrilled! Sam’s so blessed by such a great godfather and godfamily!  We love you, Rabbs!
