Sam’s birth day in pictures
Wow! When I look through these amazing pictures, I feel like I’m reliving that wonderful, wonderful Friday in December when we welcomed sweet baby Sam into our family. I loved every minute of that day! We are so thankful to have had Jordan with us to capture these once in a lifetime moments for our family. She. was. amazing! Of course we will never forget that day, but what a gift she’s given us-the day captured in pictures! I can’t find the words to describe how these make me feel, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Here are a handful I’ll share-including one of Sam’s first crying breath! I’m in such awe of this little guy and the miracle that God has blessed us with.
Grandma’s first look
I got the pictures from Sam’s birth day yesterday(much more to come!), and when I saw this picture, it reminded me of one I took the day Kendall was born. Linds and I (and Adam, too!) are so lucky to have the supportive and loving mommy that we do! And these grandbabies-they’re lucky to have such a doting grandma!
For the baby book
As I dressed Sam for church this morning, I realized I didn’t have any pictures of him in the gown he wore home from the hospital-so that’s what he wore this morning. I found this gown before I was even pregnant with him and knew it’s what I wanted the rest of my babies to wear home.
At the park with Kendall
Thursday, January 20, 2011
The boys and I headed to Charleston today to spend time with my family and play. After lunch, we went to the park and the two big cousins had a blast! We were taking twelve month pictures of Kendall, too, so Jack had a great time playing with his grandma as well-thanks, mama!! We tried to take a cute posed picture at the top of the slide. Yeah, not so much. They made sure to stop by and check on Sam every now and then-I love it.And Jack showed Kendall how to act like a puppy dog. “Mommy, what’s Jack doing? Never mind, it looks fun!” These two have such fun together-if only we could play more often!
