Church is closed today for Easter Break, so that means the Day School is closed and Jack and I get a play day!!
Mark and I have learned that our boy LOVES to be outside-he says “side?”-so Jack and I met Eva and Mary Beth and Noah and Laura for some fun at the Zoo! Slathered with 60 SPF sunscreen and sporting his boat, our little fair skinned, toe head was ready to visit with the animals! And to think, just over a week ago, we were wearing our jackets to the Zoo!
Those monkeys in the middle of the Zoo sure put on a good show, but today they were just lounging. Jack still enjoyed checking them out!
The meerkats were all hiding in the shade, but that didn’t stop the kids from looking for them.
The elephants were out, and they’re always fun to see. Jack was trying to stand on the fence like the big kids—soon enough little guy!
