Christmas Morning!

Mark and I were so excited for Jack to wake up on Christmas morning-it was like we were the kids again!  We went into his room at about 7:30, and he was still sleeping.  Mark rubbed his back a bit, and he woke up to the three of us saying, “Merry Christmas!!”.  We walked down stairs, and he was so amazed that he didn’t know what to do at first!  Then he saw his kitchen and cut-able food and was ready to have fun!He opened his guitar and was THRILLED!!Santa thought Jack should step up his game during Cowboys and Indians, so he brought Jack a shot gun and a target practice gun!He ran away from his pile a couple times to sneak a bite of the cookies Santa didn’t finish-I guess cookies before breakfast is fine on Christmas morning! :) And what little boy doesn’t need a dump truck of blocks?!We didn’t get a chance to make a birthday cake for Baby Jesus, so we put a candle in Jack’s cinnamon roll and sang Happy Birthday to our newborn King! Two of my favorite Christmas gifts! (The other one was behind the camera!)We hope you had a great Christmas morning!  It’s amazing seeing it all through the eyes of your child!
